History museum holding historic bus tour of county
Gwinnett residents can learn more about the county they call home Saturday. The Gwinnett History Museum, part of the new History and Culture Program at the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center, is sponsoring its annual historic bus tour. The tours will take participants on a comfortable ride via motor coach throughout the county with guides pointing out historic places and discussing notable events and people.

LETTERS: Thomas nothing but a spokesman for the GOP
Some political columnists get panned on a regular basis, but rarely does that happen to Mr. Cal Thomas, nationally acclaimed and a regular contributor in the Perspective section of this newspaper. Mr. Thomas is, to put it mildly, an ardent spokesman for the Republican party and just about everything it claims to be, which is the gospel truth according to whatever is the most conservative stand that exists on any political issue.
