Col. and Mrs. Robert Lee Izlar of Danielsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Olivia Frances Tate Izlar of Athens, to Patrick Michael O’Rouke of Sugar Hill, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dana O’Rouke of Sugar Hill.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Durham Wright Izlar and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Peyton Bullard. She is a 2000 graduate of Shiloh High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor’s degree in political science and telecommunication arts. She is employed by the Office of the United State Sen. Johnny Isakson as a field representative. The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Lewis McDonald Richardson of Atlanta, the late Lewis McDonald Richardson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Benson O’Rouke. He is a 2000 graduate of North Gwinnett High School, a 2004 graduate of the University of Georgia, where he received a bachelor’s degree in fisheries and aquaculture and a 2009 graduate of the University of Florida, where he received a master’s degree in fisheries and aquatic sciences. He is employed with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources as a fisheries biologist. The wedding is planned for Jan. 8 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Athens.More like this story
