L.V. Harrison, age 76, of Bogart, Georgia formerly of Lawrenceville, GA entered into to rest on November 10, 2010 after a year long battle to brain cancer. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 55 years, Betty Jean Harrison; daughter & son-in-law, Anita and Allen Giddens of Lawrenceville; son & daughter-in-law, Jeff and Jo-Lynn Harrison of Bogart; five grandchildren, Jordan Gilleland, Mataline Smith, Hanna Marie Harrison, Matthew Miller and Caroline Miller; five sisters, Louise Houpaugh of Lilburn, Audrey Ford of Snellville, Esther Haney of Lawrenceville, Myrtle & Artis Iler of Lawrenceville; Bonnie & Claud Montgomery of Madison; sisters-in-law, Patsy Anderson of Rayle, Glenda Gosnell of Rayle, Linda Doerr of Monroe, and Shirley Starnes of Monroe; brothers-in-law, Benny Powers of Monroe, Edward Powers of Walnut Grove, Emmitt Powers and Steve Powers both of Bishop, Wayne Powers of Madison; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Robert Harrison, three sisters, Eva Holt, Claudine Landers and "Little Joyce" Harrison; sister-in-law, Baby Sarah Marie Powers. A Service Celebrating the Life of L.V. Harrison will be held Friday, November 12, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Rev. Wayne Powers officiating. Interment Gwinnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
