NORCROSS -- Authorities on Wednesday arrested a Louisiana man in Norcross wanted for shooting a man on Bourbon Street this week, officials said.
Gwinnett Sheriff's Department deputies and U.S. Marshals found Latrell Coleman, 18, of Harvey, La., hiding in an upstairs bedroom at a family member's residence on Beaver Springs Lane on Wednesday night, officials said.
Coleman is suspected of shooting a man in the head on the famously raucous New Orleans street Monday. The victim survived, said Sheriff's Department spokesperson Stacey Bourbonnais.
The New Orleans Police Department has brought charges of second-degree attempted murder against Coleman.
Coleman was arrested without incident and transported to the Gwinnett County Jail, where he awaits extradition to New Orleans, Bourbonnais said.
