BUFORD -- Gwinnett residents can learn more about the county they call home Saturday.
The Gwinnett History Museum, part of the new History and Culture Program at the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center, is sponsoring its annual historic bus tour. The tours will take participants on a comfortable ride via motor coach throughout the county with guides pointing out historic places and discussing notable events and people.
"This is a great adventure for history buffs who desire to learn more about Gwinnett County's unique past," said Catherine Long, GEHC's History and Culture Program manager.
Tours are $15 per person and will depart at 8:30 a.m. from the Lawrenceville Female Seminary, 455 S. Perry St. in Lawrenceville. Buses will return about 4 p.m.
