SNELLVILLE — Emory Eastside Medical Center will host its “2010 Diabetes Extravaganza” next week, an educational event highlighting many diabetes related health issues.
Held between 4:30 and 7 p.m. Tuesday, topics of discussion will include food planning, foot care, exercise and fitness, products for good health, blood sugar meters and supplies. Guest speaker Dr. Naland Shenoy will discuss “Obesity: Relationship to Diabetes and Latest Treatment.” The event, which includes a complimentary box meal, will be held at the Bethesda Senior Center at 225 Bethesda Church Road in Lawrenceville.
