LAWRENCEVILLE — Fire investigators say arson was to blame for a fire at a vacant house.
Neighbors reported smoke at the home on Guardian Way in Lawrenceville, at about 1:13 a.m. Sunday. According to a press release, the fire caused moderate damage in the single-story wood frame house and sent smoke throughout. Investigators said the home, which was unoccupied, was intentionally set. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Gwinnett Fire Arson and Explosives Section at 678-518-4890 or the Georgia Arson Control Hotline at 1-800-282-5804. Georgia Arson Control offers a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of people responsible for arson, the release said.More like this story
