RUTH Mrs. Nellie Ruth Ewing, age 84 of Gray, formerly of Grayson, died May 10, 2010. She is survived by husband, Jerrill Hollis Ewing Sr.; daughter & son-in-law, Brenda & Johnny Folsom, Eatonton; sons & daughters-in-law, Jerrill & Nancy Ewing, Eatonton, Ashley & Pam Ewing, Tuscaloosa, AL; sisters, Ann Purkey, Covington, Kathryn McLain, Lawrenceville; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by brother, William Edgar McCart. Mrs. Ewing was a member of Snellville United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Stockbridge with Rev. Mike Waers officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Scot Ward's Harry White Chapel. Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.scotward.com.
