Dawn Hall and Ryan Holman
Mary Ann Hall of Atlanta announces the engagement of her daughter Dawn M. Hall of Decatur to Ryan R. Holman of Smyrna, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Holman of Lawrenceville.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late C. Lee Hall Jr. and the granddaughter of Mrs. Thomas Freeman of Fallston, N.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. I. Curtis Price and the late Mr. C. Lee Hall Sr. She is a graduate of Marist School and the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree in agriculture, and of Emory University, where she received a degree in public health. She is employed by the CDC.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Holman, the late William and Dorothy Portaro. He is a graduate of Brookwood High School and Georgia Tech, where he received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a master's degree in computer and electrical engineering and is pursuing a master's degree in business. He is a research engineer at the Georgia Tech Research Institute.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 9 in Atlanta.
