Mike Lawley and Rachel Ecke
Skip and Laurie Ecke of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Rachel Jeananne Ecke of Gainesville to Mike Lawley of Snellville, son of Joni and Mike Lawley of Snellville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Scot and Nancy Roehm of Roswell, the late James Bailey and the late Walter and Sallie Ecke. She is a 2005 graduate of West Hall High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Georgia. She is employed by Georgia Juniors as a volleyball coach in Athens. The future groom is the grandson of Ken and Jean Newton of Atlanta, Bill and Bobbi Rhodes of Erie, Pa. and the late Serge Lawley. He is a 2003 graduate of South Gwinnett High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Georgia, where he received a bachelor's degree in social science education and a master's degree in educational administration and policy. He is employed by Buford High School as a history teacher. The wedding is planned for June 25 at Watkinsville First Baptist Church.More like this story
