LAWRENCEVILLE -- Baseballs and frisbees will help tell Gwinnett's story under the Gold Dome today.
The Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the second annual Gwinnett Day at the Capitol.
With a theme of play, officials hope to tout the county's award-winning parks system and convince legislators the county is a great place to live, work and play, said Chamber spokesman Demming Bass.
With Georgia Gwinnett College's Grizzly mascot offering up the toys as an invitation to tonight's event, legislators and officials will get a chance to meet and discuss issues, as the General Assembly session nears its end.
Officials will begin running a shuttle from the Duluth Chamber building to the Georgia Freight Depot at 4:30 p.m., with the event scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m.
The event costs $45 for Chamber members and $55 for non-members.
