Ms. Lydia Mauldin Hillis, age 72, of Buford, GA passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reece and Nellie Tuggle Mauldin; and sisters, Carolyn Mauldin Hosch and Rosa Mauldin Savage. She is survived by: daughter and son-in-law, Reda and Merle Reed, Suwanee, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Becky Williams, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Brian and Chelsea Reed, Buford, GA, Jason and Jennifer Reed, Buford, GA, Jeremy and Michelle Williams, Winder, GA and Ashley and Cliff Lowery, Buford, GA; three great grandchildren, Morgan Reed, Lauren Reed and William Lowery; sisters, Dot Mauldin Milton, Hapeville, GA and Sybil Mauldin, Texas; and nieces, nephews and cousins. Ms. Hillis was born January 20, 1938 in Buford, GA. She was retired from Lovable Company in Buford, GA after twenty-three years of service. She was a long time member of Duncan Creek Congregational Church in Buford, GA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Cohron officiating. Interment will follow at Duncan Creek Congregational Church Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Arrangements by: Junior E.
