Newly renovated Lillian Webb Park will host "Spring Break in Norcross" next month, a beach-themed event aimed at celebrating the weather and the rededication of the park.
The official dedication will be held at 7 p.m. April 17 amid a day full of festivities
Following the annual Corners to Crossings 10K at 8 a.m., Norcross' new welcome center will host a ribbon cutting at 11.
"Spring break" will officially start at 2 p.m., with live music and food creating the setting around volleyball, rock climbing and inflatable rides.
The East Coast Band will headline at 7:30 p.m.
Lillian Webb Park, adjacent to the downtown district of Norcross, is named for the city's mayor emeritus. The park's green spaces are the town's original baseball field, which saw its first game more than 100 years ago and hosted many professional players in the sport's early years.
