Commissioners will vote on a possible settlement to the year-long trash lawsuit on Tuesday. The settlement would divide the county residence services between the five haulers embroiled in litigation and would cost residents $17.86 a month. The county would not have to pay $80 million in lawsuit claims if the settlement is accepted. However, one federal case would remain.
