DULUTH -- Gwinnett caught a touch this past December, but Bieber Fever will be full on in August.

The Arena at Gwinnett Center announced this week teen singing sensation Justin Bieber will be making a stop at the Duluth venue during his first-ever headlining tour.

The 16-year-old, who broke into the music industry in Atlanta and now calls the city home, performed at the Arena in December during Star 94's annual Jingle Jam concert.

The "My World" Tour will bring Bieber to Gwinnett on Aug. 9, along with special guest Sean Kingston. Duluth is one of more than 40 cities that will catch the fever during the June through September tour.

"We are one of the few facilities in this region to get one of the dates," said Dan Markham, director of Arena booking. "Because of our location, we pull from North Carolina, Alabama and South Carolina, so we'll have a lot of people traveling to this show and a lot of them staying, eating, sleeping here. It will have a big economic impact."

Pre-sale concert tickets for fan club members will go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday with sales opening to the public March 27.

Bieber's first full studio album is set to be released March 23. "MY WORLD 2.0."
