LAWRENCEVILLE The Gwinnett Coalition for Health and Human Services will host a community town hall meeting on March 26 to engage the public and community agencies in updating the county's comprehensive health and human services plan.
The meeting will be held at Georgia Gwinnett College, 1000 University Center Lane in Lawrenceville, in the atrium of Building B. Organizers said it is an opportunity to share progress, ideas on future trends and be a part of change. Coalition Executive Director Ellen Gerstein said results from the latest youth health survey will also be shared. "If you have school-age youth or are a youth-serving agency, you will not want to miss this enlightening presentation on the findings of our survey," Gerstein said. "Our goal is to engage the community around issues that impact our most vulnerable populations." Registration and breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 9 and last until noon. Participants can register by visiting www.surveymonkey.com/s/W66W83R. If you would like to have a booth for the forum, call Gerstein at 678-376-7887. For more information, visit www.gwinnettcoalition .org.More like this story
