Joan Dailey Minor, age 71, of Snellville, Georgia, went to be with her Lord & Savior on June 27, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Wm. Kim Minor; three daughters and sons-in-law, Terri & Dobie Knight of Dacula, GA, Lynda & Doug Miller of Cave Spring, GA, Deanna & Clay Lewis of Monroe, GA; mother, Myrtice Dailey of Lawrenceville, GA; eight grandchildren; Kealey, Courtney and Cody Knight, Cole and Garrett Miller, Hunter Thompson, Logan and Luke Lewis; two brothers, Allen Dailey of Savannah, GA, Darrell & Tricia Dailey of Andrews, NC; three sisters-in-law, Beverly & Madison Nichols of Newnan, GA, Mary & Paul McElreath of Sevierville, TN, Martha & Ken Harris of Eatonton, GA; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Minor was born in Atlanta, GA on March 22, 1939 to Myrtice Marie Bowden Dailey and Ralph Allen Dailey. She was a member of the Snellville First Baptist Church and longtime resident of Snellville, GA. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She loved to cook, shop and vacation with her family. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. A Memorial Service Celebrating the Life of Joan Dailey Minor will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel with Rev. Steve Foster officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted, but those desiring may make donations to the Susan G.
