Mrs. Mary Jean Bassett, age 91, of Dacula, GA passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Her husband, Paul Campbell Bassett, preceded her in death. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Joan Marie Janoszewski and husband, Edmund, Dacula, GA and Margery and Charles White, Farmington Hills, MI; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bassett was born July 13, 1918 in Scranton, PA and lived in Orlando, FL for twenty-six years before moving to Dacula, GA. She was a retired secretary from Rhinebeck Central School in Rhinebeck, NY. She was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Monica in Duluth, GA. Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Catholic Church of St. Monica in Duluth, GA with Father Jack Durkin serving as Celebrant. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha, FL 34734.
