BJ’s to showcase local restaurants
NORCROSS — BJ’s Membership Club will showcase local restaurants at the Club’s Taste of the Town event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Shoppers can sample dishes from CiCi’s Pizza, Boulevard Diner, Lenny’s Sub Shop, Papa John’s Pizza, Willy’s Mexicana Grill and Shane’s Rib Shack, as well as participate in activities such as arts and crafts and raffles. BJ’s Membership Club is located at 6344 Cash Court in Norcross. Lilburn resident joins Young Audiences board ATLANTA — Young Audiences, Woodruff Arts Center recently announced that Lilburn resident Paul Denton, a transportation solution team leader for General Electric Transportation Systems, has been elected to the organization’s 2010-11 Board of Directors. Denton brings to Young Audiences more than 20 years of experience and leadership in business administration and operations management. He is also an active member of the Atlanta community through his membership with the General Electric Elfun Atlanta Chapter, which participates in local nonprofit organizations and events, including Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Festival of Trees and Habitat for Humanity.
