SUWANEE -- The Gwinnett County Board of Education will meet Monday morning to set the millage rate for the upcoming year.
For the fifth consecutive year, the school board is expected to maintain the 20.55 millage rate. That includes 19.25 mills for maintenance and operations and 1.3 mills for debt service.
The board tentatively adopted the millage rate in May, when it approved the school system's $1.76 billion budget.
The special-called meeting is scheduled for 7:15 a.m. Monday at the Instructional Support Center, 437 Old Peachtree Road N.W. in Suwanee.
