ATLANTA -- Two girls will share a role in a production of "White Christmas."
One could be your child.
Theater of the Stars will hold auditions for the role of Susan Waverly for girls between the ages of 10 and 13 for a tour of Irving Berlin's popular holiday musical.
Registration for auditions will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. June 19 at the Alliance Theatre, 1280 Peachtree St. in Atlanta and call backs will be held later that afternoon.
Interested girls who sing and dance well should bring two copies of a head shot and resume. Head shots will not be returned. Girls should be prepared to perform "Let Me Sing And I'm Happy" from the show and an accompanist will be provided. Those who audition are asked to wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to dance.
In order to be cast in the tour, the child must be available from Oct. 11 through Jan. 2, and be able to make a commitment for the entire time period. A child selected to participate in the show must attend all rehearsals and performances.
For more information, or to receive a registration form in advance, call Marguerite Daniel at Theater of the Stars at 404-252-8960 or e-mail marguerite@theaterofthestars.com.
