Joyce Simonton, 65, of Loganville, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Billy Simonton, children, Travis and Roxana Simonton of Loganville, Stacy and Angela Simonton of Gainsville, Tracy Smith of Grayson, Scott and Angelia Simonton of Smyrna, mother, Tempie Elizabeth Hayes of Tucker, nine grandchildren, Brianna, Ashley, Brooke, Austin, Alexander, Aiden, Christopher, Victoria, and Charlotte, brother in-law and sister in-law, Thomas and Mary Murell of Loganville, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Simonton retired from Haverty's after 25 years as an office manager. She was a member of Lenora Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 4 at 2PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, with Rev. J.T. McMillian officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 3 from 12PM until 9PM.
