Billy C. Bannister, age 82, of Flowery Branch passed away early Saturday morning, July 24th at his home after an extended illness. He was a long-time member of Friendship Community Baptist Church. He was a former Hall County School Bus Driver and ran an auto repair shop for many years. He and his family owned and operated Timeless Treasures in Flowery Branch. Mr. Bannister was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Alice Bannister; sister, Jeanette Carlisle; and son, Billy Ray Bannister. He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Carol Bannister, Flowery Branch; daughters, Judy Bannister, Flowery Branch and Cindy Bannister, Buford and friend, Tim Harrison, Monroe; daughter-in-law, Margaret Bannister, Flowery Branch; nephew, Randy Carlisle, Flowery Branch; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Banks and Ruby McDaniel, both of Flowery Branch; special friends, Tony and Cheryle Williams and family, George and Glenda Smith, Gary and Jane Bailey; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. James McNeal, Rev Barney Williams and Rev. Darryl Dale officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park South Cemetery in Flowery Branch. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Arrangements by: Junior E.
