SNELLVILLE -- A family member led police to a cache of child pornography in a Snellville home that included hundreds of CDs and DVDs, police said Wednesday.

Police brought sexual exploitation of children charges against Michael Zahradnick, 42, after a relative told authorities he'd been exposing a 15-year-old family member to the illegal material for two years, said Snellville police Chief Roy Whitehead.

Police arrested Zahradnick on Tuesday after serving a search warrant at his Country Farm home.

Investigators found hundreds of CDs, DVDs, hand drawings, a laptop and still pictures depicting minors engaged in sexual acts. Police anticipate finding more pornography on a laptop and cameras uncovered in Zahradnick's truck, Whitehead said.

"Nothing we have found so far indicates that he was taking pictures himself," the chief said.

Zahradnick was captured in Monroe after a lookout was issued for his vehicle. He remains at the Gwinnett County Jail without bond.

More charges are expected in the continuing investigation, Whitehead said.
