DULUTH -- Members of the Gwinnett Sheriff's Fugitive Unit apprehended a teen wanted in Duluth for armed robbery Friday.
Sixteen-year-old Xavier Jordan Thicklin was found on Oglethorpe Avenue in Atlanta, as Gwinnett deputies entered an apartment with the assistance of Atlanta Police.
Thicklin, wanted for armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and simple battery, was taken into custody without incident, sheriff's department spokeswoman Stacey Bourbonnais said.
Duluth police could not be reached Friday afternoon in reference to the original incident leading to Thicklin's arrest.
