DULUTH -- The Hudgens Center for the Arts recognized two individuals recently who have made significant contributions to the arts organization and arts in Gwinnett.
Art Vedejs and Bill Brogdon were presented Gwinnie Awards during an appreciation night in June for their support of the Duluth arts organization. Vedejs was honored for his work transforming The Hudgens Center's pond and the subsequent revitalization of the Sculpture Garden. Bill Brogdon was recognized for his unwavering dedication and support of The Hudgens.
The Daily Post was also presented a Gwinnie Award for its public support of the arts and coverage of activities at the arts center.
The Gwinnie Awards are presented annually to individuals, corporations or civic groups to honor their outstanding commitment to and support for The Hudgens.
