BUFORD -- The movie trailers that rolled before the 7 p.m. IMAX showing of "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" at the Mall of Georgia on Saturday were interrupted.

No technical difficulties were reported but the interruption likely resulted in difficulty breathing for some fans of the series as one of the film's cast members was in their midst.

Cameron Bright, who plays Volturi guard Alec in the recently released film, made a surprise appearance at the theater much to the delight of 15-year-old Dacula resident Sydney Lockhart, who was seeing "Eclipse" for the first time, and Lawrenceville resident Kristen Graham, 16, who was on her second go-round. The duo had a front row seat for Bright's appearance and the film.

Bright's stop at the Mall of Georgia preceded another appearance at Discover Mills Mall.

The appearances were part of a nationwide promotion in which 20 cast members from the film, including the movie's stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, visited theaters in specific cities throughout the country.

Bright, 17, spent the day Saturday, the first time he has ever visited Georgia, taking on the roller coasters at Six Flags over Georgia before touring the Georgia Aquarium.

"The aquarium is amazing," he said. "We got to go behind the scenes ... so we actually got to see like the top of the main deep sea ocean one where they have all the whale sharks, so that was pretty cool."

Bright wasn't recognized at either place.

"I look a lot different than I do there," he said, pointing to a movie poster.
