I am at a loss to understand how Nate McCullough thinks the Supreme Court's decision on free speech is not good for the people of the United States ("Corporate America tightens its grip on political system," Jan. 22, Page 8A).
You need look no further than at how many liberal Democrats in Congress and the media are unhappy with the decision to see that it is good. It is not just good, it's wonderful. We need more input from corporations that cannot operate their businesses and thereby provide more jobs to the people who need them due to being under political attack. Corporations should be able to support political positions that are favorable to their business. If this had been in effect last fall, maybe we would not have an administration that "hates" business, business people and the concept of profit. Charles L. Patrick LawrencevilleMore like this story
