Lawrenceville youth earns rank of Eagle Scout
Benjamin Joseph Llena of Lawrenceville earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He is the son of Ronnie and Sylvia Llena of Lawrenceville. Benjamin is a member of Troop 573 chartered by St. Edward's Episcopal Church in Lawrenceville. He completed his Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project by creating a basketball court for the children of San Jose Orphanage in the Philippines. Benjamin earned 30 merit badges, including the 21 required for the rank of Eagle Scout. Flowery Branch teen earns rank of Eagle Scout Joshua Aaron Whaley, a sophomore at Buford High School, earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He is the son of Wayne and Julie Whaley of Flowery Branch. Joshua is a member of Troop 513 chartered by Sugar Hill Church in Sugar Hill. He completed his Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project by supervising the construction of a playground at Sugar Hill Church for toddlers. Joshua has earned 26 merit badges, including the 21 required for the rank of Eagle Scout.More like this story
