'Dexter' actor being treated for cancer
LOS ANGELES -- ''Dexter'' star Michael C. Hall said he was diagnosed with cancer and is on the road to the successful completion of treatment.
In a statement Wednesday, Hall said he was fortunate to be diagnosed with a ''treatable and curable condition,'' Hodgkin's lymphoma, and thanked his doctors and nurses for their expertise. The name of the Los Angeles area health facility where he has undergone treatment was not released.
Craig Bankey, a spokesman for the actor, said the disease is in complete remission and Hall's treatment will continue as planned.
Rob Zombie to direct episode of 'CSI: Miami'
LOS ANGELES -- Rob Zombie will make his television directorial debut on an upcoming episode of ''CSI: Miami.''
CBS says the rocker and filmmaker will bring the Miami crime-solving team to Los Angeles in a story that involves secret tape recordings and evidence tampering.
Production began Wednesday on the episode slated to air March 1. Zombie previously directed the horror films ''Halloween,'' ''Halloween II,'' ''The Devil's Rejects'' and ''House of 1000 Corpses.''
Prosecutors charge woman in burglaries
LOS ANGELES -- California prosecutors say they have charged a woman suspected of burglarizing the homes of Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Audrina Patridge.
The attorneys said Wednesday that 19-year-old Rachel Lee is suspected of spearheading the break-ins. She faces three counts of first-degree residential burglary and two counts of receiving stolen property.
Lee joins five other defendants charged with various break-ins at the Hollywood Hills homes of stars such as Lohan, Hilton, Orlando Bloom and Ashley Tisdale.
Lee was arrested in Las Vegas in October on suspicion of having stolen property. Nicholas Prugo, who faces also faces felony burglary charges, told police that Lee would often suggest which celebrities to target.
