Hospital names new care director

JOHNS CREEK — Emory Johns Creek Hospital recently named a new Medical Director of Care Coordination.

Dr. Adedapo O. Odetoyinbo, who joined the EJCH medical staff in 2008, has been active on the hospital's utilization review and Chest Pain Center committees, officials said, and has played a key role in patient satisfaction initiatives.

In his new duties, Odetoyinbo will work closely with case management and various departments to ensure optimal care coordination and utilization of resources.

Odetoyinbo graduated from the College of Medicine of the University of Lagos, Nigeria and completed his internal medicine residency at Lincoln Medical Center in Bronx, N.Y. Before joining EJCH, he served at the Emory University Section of Hospital Medicine and Emory Eastside Medical Center in Snellville.

Hospital CEO John Quinlivan said Odetoyinbo is an integral part of the center's commitment to its patients and the community.

"We are fortunate to have someone of Dr. Odetoyinbo's caliber on our staff," said CEO John Quinlivan. He is an asset to our team and to the quality initiatives at Emory Johns Creek."
