DULUTH -- Gwinnett County police responded to a call Saturday evening regarding an aggravated domestic dispute between two households in which shots had reportedly been fired.
Upon arriving at an address off Old Peachtree Road in unincorporated Duluth, officers encountered a suspect outside a home and a short chase ensued. The person was cornered, at which time he made what Detective James Flanagan described as "threatening and furtive movements," and the officer fired shots. The suspect was not struck but was subdued and taken into custody.
No one was injured and an investigation is ongoing.
