Company to offer seminar on retirement
SUWANEE -- Retirees and those approaching retirement are invited to attend an educational seminar hosted by The Lloyd Group Inc., a retirement planning and asset preservation firm based in Suwanee.
The seminar, titled "Make Your Money Work For You," will be offered at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday at the George Pierce Community Center, 55 Buford Highway in Suwanee, and will be presented by Mark Lloyd, president and founder of The Lloyd Group and host of "Focus on Your Retirement," a local, weekly radio program devoted to helping retirees protect their assets.

Adult day care to open Thurs.
SNELLVILLE -- SarahCare, an adult day care center located is Suwanee, will celebrate its grand opening with a reception from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, including a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30.
The grand opening will be followed up with a community open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Firm to expand Gwinnett HQ
LAWRENCEVILLE -- Slingshot Product Development Group, a global innovation and product development firm, has announced it will expand its headquarters after recently renewing its lease with Highwoods Properties.
Renovations to Slingshot PDG's current corporate headquarters located in Highwoods' Corporate Lakes Distribution Center in Lawrenceville will accompany the 5,613-square-feet expansion, bringing the total square footage to close to 17,000. Slingshot PDG plans to unveil its new look during an open house tentatively scheduled for early spring.

New Bed, Bath & Beyond to open
BUFORD -- Bed Bath & Beyond's latest store in Gwinnett is now open for business.
The new, 33,000-square-foot store featuring quality domestic merchandise and home furnishings is located in the Marketplace at Mill Creek at 1705 Mall of Georgia Blvd. Bed Bath & Beyond also has stores in Duluth and Snellville.

Data center to be LEED certified
NORCROSS -- Corus360, an Atlanta-based technology consulting and solutions company, announced the completion of its anticipated LEED Gold certified data center this week.
The data center is located on the bottom floor of the company's 30,000-square-foot office building at 130 Technology Parkway in Norcross and is the first of its kind in the state.
