WINDER -- The Barrow County Sheriff's Office is investigating the case of a dead man found Friday morning as a homicide.
Details were few at press time, but sheriff's spokesman Investigator Matt Guthas said deputies responded to a request for medical assistance at a Midland Court residence in the early morning hours.
There they found a deceased Hispanic man, Guthas said.
Guthas said investigators spent more than 17 hours processing the scene and interviewing witnesses.
The cause of death has not been released.
