LETTERS: Headline on Connell story showed bias

I was very disappointed by the headline used in the article "County retiree pockets $300k," (Jan. 6, Page 1A) regarding former county administrator Jock Connell. I thought journalism meant that you reported the facts without bias.

Connell did what any other retired or terminated employee would do. Every company I know of pays an individual for their unused sick leave and vacation time when their employment is over.

To say that Mr. Connell "pocketed" the money is grossly wrong and I think he deserves an apology.
