Mrs. Patricia Poss McElhannon, age 65, of Toccoa, GA and formerly of Monroe, GA passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2009. She was preceded in death by: husband, Robert Stanley McElhannon, Jr.; and son, Sammy Wilson. She is survived by: daughters, Susan Wilson, Barbara Lanton, Becky Smith and Pam Guiney; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Sue Marchman, Mary Poss and Dorothy Poss; brothers, William Poss, Bill Poss and Eddie Poss; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. McElhannon was born April 25, 1944 in Fulton County, GA. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Suwanee First Baptist Church in Suwanee, GA. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Truman Humphries officiating. Interment will follow in Sugar Hill Cemetery in Sugar Hill, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Arrangements by: Junior E.
