LAWRENCEVILLE -- Gwinnett investigators believe the crash that killed two Flowery Branch men early Sunday morning may have been the result of racing.
Paul Keys III, 23, and 19-year-old Shawn Keys died in the fiery crash just inside the Gwinnett County line on Interstate 985.
According to a witness, a Chevrolet truck driven by a Hispanic man was speeding southbound, "possibly engaged in some form of race," with the Honda CRX driven by Paul Keys.
Officers responding to the scene just before 2 a.m. found the Keys' vehicle engulfed in flames and the two men dead.
Police urge anyone with information to call Gwinnett investigators at 770-338-7430 ext. 5673.
