ATLANTA -- A Texas-based blood testing lab is expanding to Gwinnett County.
QualTex Laboratories will invest nearly $12 million over five years and create 125 high-skill jobs with a new facility in Norcross.
Gov. Sonny Perdue said QualTex's expansion to Georgia builds on the state's "growing reputation as the crossroads of global health."
QualTex is a worldwide provider of blood testing. It is the largest independent testing lab in the United States for blood and plasma products.
The company is based in San Antonio.
