Marine Sergeant Bryan Williams served as drum major for his Albany Marine Band at the 2010 Mardi Gras celebration in New Orleans. Sgt. Williams is a 2006 graduate of Brookwood High School.
Collins Hill student earns Eagle Scout Thomas C. Moreland, a senior at Collins Hill High School, earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He is a member of Troop 575 and the son of Tom and Eileen Moreland of Lawrenceville. He completed his Eagle Scout Project by supervising the design, building and installation of signs, benches and trash receptacles along the Cherokee Trail. Thomas has earned 27 merit badges, including the 21 required for the rank of Eagle Scout.More like this story
