• Atmosphere: As its name indicates, the Coach's Corner Cafe caters to sports coaches, as well as players and fans. The large dining area inside the restaurant is outfitted with regular and high-top tables as well as booth seating, all with multiple flat-screen TVs in view. The audio of popular sporting events is played over the house speakers, while those taking in games that don't quite make the cut can request a small, wireless speaker to listen in right at their tables.

A bar at the back of the house serves up beer, wine and liquor, and an enclosed patio just outside the main dining area provides an outdoor dining option.

• Menu: Coach's Corner Cafe recently rolled out an updated dinner menu with a couple new appetizers, sandwiches and entrees, including the popcorn shrimp and garlic bread for starters and chicken parmesan and spaghetti and meatballs listed under signature items.

The most popular entrees on the menu, which is heavily influenced by Executive Chef Anthony Duran's culinary education in Italy, are the chicken francese — a breast of chicken lightly dipped in egg and sauteed with lemon butter and white wine served over a bed of fettucine — and the lemon garlic tilapia — a filet bathed in lemon juice and melted lemon butter seasoned with cilantro and garlic and baked then served on a bed of rice pilaf with a side of steamed broccoli.

The Coach's burgers are also popular choices. All named for famous football, baseball and ice hockey coaches, the selections include the Vince Lombardi Lipsmacker with three layers of American, Swiss and cheddar cheeses, the Mark Richt quesadilla burger of beef sandwiched between two flour tortillas served with lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheeses and jalapenos, and the Casey Stengel mushroom Swiss with sauteed mushrooms and melted cheese.

Coach's Corner Cafe offers a lunch menu from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays, with most items — sandwiches, salads, burgers, wraps and wings — priced at less than $5.

A breakfast menu is offered from 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays, including waffles, eggs, omelets, gravy and more.
