Duluth soccer players honored with ceremony
Duluth soccer players Kevin Rodriguez and Joey Constantine will be honored with a signing ceremony Thursday at 2:15 p.m. in the high school's theater. Rodriguez will play college soccer at Clayton State while Constantine will sign with Shorter.
Parkview seniors sign with soccer programs
Two more Parkview seniors, Sarah Hill and Kylie Flynn, have signed with college soccer programs. Hill has signed with Piedmont and Flynn has signed with Agnes Scott.
Dacula soccer plans first alumni game
The Dacula soccer program will host its inaugural alumni game March 27 at the high school's stadium. The women's game is at 10 a.m. followed by the men's game at noon.

Marelle leads GAC to unbeaten season
Longtime Gwinnett teacher and coach Joe Marelle led the Greater Atlanta Christian ninth-grade boys basketball team to a 14-0 record this season.
Members of the Spartans' undefeated team were: Whit Anderson, Christopher Bartolomei, Darrius Curry, Timmy Desmond, Miles Humphrey, Grant Hill, Tyler Joseph, Andrew Lewis, Kyle Scales, Kristopher Smith and Chase Waters.
AAC will host Atlanta Tennis Championships in July
The USTA Southern Section announced Tuesday that the Atlanta Athletic Club will be the site of the Atlanta Tennis Championships, the kickoff for the 2010 Olympus U.S. Open Series, from July 19-25.
USTA Southern purchased the sanction for the ATP Tour World 250 tournament, which had been played in Indianapolis, in December. Premium tickets for the event go on sale Tuesday at 9 a.m. For more information, go to www.atlantatennischampionships.com.
Prep Rally features county swimming
Gwinnett Prep Rally, a Gwinnett County high school sports TV program, airs highlights from the Gwinnett County swimming and diving championships as well as basketball highlights from Peachtree Ridge-Collins Hill boys, Wesleyan-St. Francis girls and Peachtree Ridge-Collins Hill girls on this week's show.
Featured athletes include Peachtree Ridge's Brittany Jack, Wesleyan's Grace Leigh Baughn and Peachtree Ridge's C.J. Blackwell. Gwinnett Prep Rally, hosted by Daily Post editor Todd Cline and sports editor Will Hammock, airs Tuesdays at 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on GCPS-TV and each Wednesday-Friday at 7:30 a.m., 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on GCPS-TV.
