WINDER -- Barrow County authorities are investigating a Friday morning death as a homicide, officials said.
According to reports, sheriff's deputies responded to 1058 Clacktown Road at about 8:45 a.m. in reference to an unresponsive person.
The victim, a white man, was dead when they arrived, reports said.
Investigator Matt Guthas said the incident is being investigated but did not release further details or a suspected manner of death.
"The investigation continues and more information will be released as it becomes available," Guthas said.
