CUMMING -- A Suwanee man was among two killed Sunday night in a head-on collision in Forsyth County, officials said.
Ricky Joe Frady, 48, died instantly when a 2005 Dodge Stratus crossed a center line on Ga. Highway 53 and slammed into the Kia Sportage he was driving, said Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Investigator Ron Tomblin, a traffic specialist.
One of three passengers Frady was driving, Brenda Williams, 57, of Gainesville, also died.
The other passengers -- Hattie Lorene Skywark, 48, of Suwanee and Kishia Ray, 18, of Gainesville -- were transported to metro Atlanta hospitals with serious injuries, authorities said.
Ray was air-lifted to Gwinnett Medical Center, and Skywark went via ambulance to North Fulton Hospital.
The driver of the Dodge Stratus, Deborah Elaine Mace, 44, of Gainesville, was seriously injured and air-lifted to Atlanta Medical Center.
Tomblin said alcohol and excessive speed may have factored into the 8:20 p.m. collision.
Charges could be forthcoming against Mace, pending an investigation, he said.
