SNELLVILLE — Emory Eastside Medical Center will host a 30-year veteran of cardiovascular nursing during a January general meeting.
Part of its free H2U-Health to You program, the hospital will welcome Dr. Laura Kimble, a professor at Mercer University at 2 p.m. Jan. 26. Kimble has been a cardiovascular nurse for 30 years and conducts healthcare research about how patients with heart disease manage their illness, including symptoms and cardiovascular medications. Her research has been funded by the American Heart Association and the National Institute of Health. The event will be held at the Snellville Senior Center at 2350 Oak Road in Snellville.
