Three more Gwinnett standouts have been added to the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association’s North-South All-Star Football Game roster, giving the county an all-time best 14 participants in the game.
Buford defensive back Eric Barr, Mill Creek offensive lineman Austin Hagan and Collins Hill wide receiver Zay Howard were the latest additions from the original roster released by the GACA. FOOTBALL What: GACA North-South All-Star Football Game When: Wednesday, 2 p.m. Where: Memorial Stadium, Columbus They join 11 other Gwinnett players, including all three North quarterbacks, C.J. Uzomah of North Gwinnett, Taylor Heinicke of Collins Hill and Kent Rollins of South Gwinnett, who will play in the Dec. 29 showcase at Memorial Stadium in Columbus. Howard is joined at receiver by Brookwood’s A.J. Sims and Central Gwinnett’s Ozzie Exume, while South’s Aaron Wimberly is a running back and receiver. Hagan and North’s Manrey Saint-Armour were offensive line selections. Barr is part of a North defense that also features Norcross teammates Ben Bradley and Silverberry Mouhon at defensive line and linebackers Cameron Lynch of Brookwood and Tanner Botts of Peachtree Ridge.More like this story
