DULUTH — Police are looking for a suspect in the robbery of a carhop at a Duluth Sonic restaurant.

According to police, the victim said that he was working at the restaurant at 3280 Satellite Boulevard on Dec. 8 when the suspect approached him coming out of the bathroom and asked for a cigarette.

When he reached in his pocket, the unidentified male suspect punched him in the face before picking him up and slamming him on the ground, police said. Dropping a pair of sunglasses and a hat, the suspect took the wallet belonging to the Sonic from the victim and ran off toward the mall.

The suspect was described as a white man approximately 19 years old, 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds with brown hair.
