Gwinnett Daily Post
The Gwinnett Gladiators will have to wait until Friday to take on first place Greenville. Their scheduled game Tuesday night was postponed due to unsafe ice conditions and an inoperable ice resurfacing machine at the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville, S.C.
Gwinnett made the trip up I-85 and both teams skated for pregame warm-ups. But the ice resurfacing machine ran over a puck and was unable to complete its circuit. In addition, the Bi-Lo Center recently held Disney on Ice at the venue and the ice, which had additional layers added to handle the ice show, was not completely returned to hockey thickness and was not fit for game conditions. The game will be made up at a later date. Greenville hosts Florida tomorrow at the Bi-Lo Center and the Gladiators return for an already scheduled game Friday. The Bi-Lo Center presents Justin Bieber on Thursday.More like this story
