Anthony Rodriguez will put on his solo performance of the holiday classic “A Christmas Carol” at the Aurora Theatre today through Dec. 19.
LAWRENCEVILLE — For the fourth straight year Anthony Rodriguez will put on his solo performance of the holiday classic “A Christmas Carol.” Using his voice and mannerisms, Rodriguez brings life to Ebenezer Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, Jacob Marley and the remarkable ghosts found in the great Christmas story.
The one-man performance of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” returns for a limited three-week engagement at the Aurora Theatre starting tonight and running through Dec. 19.

The story is adapted for the stage and directed by Tony Brown, who will return this spring to direct the heart-warming comedy “Over the River and Through the Woods.”
“Although it is a daunting task, taking on this production inspires me for the entire holiday season,” said Rodriguez, the Aurora Theatre’s producing artistic director. “The story reminds us the greatest gift we can receive is the joy of giving. If I am able to give a family the gift of entertainment as they gather together for holiday cheer, I am eternally gratified.”
Performances are at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and at 2:30 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $15.
