TURNER Dottie Turner Carter, age 31, of Loganville, passed away Monday, November 29, 2010. Funeral Services will be 2 PM Friday, December 3, 2010 at Lenora Baptist Church, Snellville with remains lying in State from 1-2 PM with Rev. Terry Briscoe, Rev. J.T. McMillan, & Rev. Billy Holloway officiating. Interment at Lenora Baptist Church Cemetery, Snellville. Dottie was a member of Lenora Baptist Church and the first full graduating class of Collins Hill High School. She was employed in the Human Resource Department of Gwinnett Medical Center. After fighting and overcoming Leukemia, Dottie developed a rare form of Lung Disease stemming from a Bone Marrow Transplant. Through all of this Dottie stayed strong in her faith. When Jesus called Dottie home, she was at peace, and with a smile bigger than we have seen in years. Dottie said I will have a new body-Praise the LORD! She is survived by Husband: Joey Dean Carter; Sons: Joseph William Carter & Jacob Isaac Carter, Loganville; Parents: William & Sara Ann Turner, Lawrenceville; Grandmothers: Dorothy Turner, Oxford; Dorothy James, Alpharetta; Jewell Gearin, Loganville; Sister & Brother-in-law: Gloria & Tracy Moon, Loganville; Nieces: MaryAnn & Hannah Moon; Nephew: Joshua Moon.
