Gwinnett Daily Post
I was absolutely delighted by the recent attack by columnist Eugene Robinson on Glenn Beck’s recent “Restoring Honor” rally in Washington (“Even Beck can’t mar King’s legacy,” Aug. 29, Page 10A). The attack reflects the desperation of the leftists. You see, anytime far-leftist columnists like Eugene Robinson of The Washington Post, Leonard Pitts of The Miami Herald and Cynthia Tucker of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution get upset and go off on their routine vicious unhinged tirades against anyone who is conservative, then I know that these leftists are very frightened that Americans may finally be questioning the far-left socialist tilt of this administration.
I believe most Americans oppose Obama’s efforts to forcefully inflict the failed European-style socialism on our country, and I also believe Americans desire a return to traditional American values. All too many Americans who nominally consider themselves to be liberal simply have not yet recognized that the current administration has moved so far to the left that nominal liberals have much more in common with conservatives than they do the leftist Obama administration. I have come to believe the Obama administration lusts to destroy our constitutionally based government so it can “build” its own leftist utopia. I pray I am wrong about their leftist goals, but their actions indicate otherwise.
Just a mention of the tea party sends leftist-socialist columnists into a violent tizzy as does any mention of conservative Americans like Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, Sean Hannity or Bill O’Reilly. Robinson, Pitts and Tucker seem mentally incapable of understanding, or tolerating, any person who questions the Obama administration attacks on traditional American values. Actually, polls of Americans reflect that Palin, Hannity, O’Reilly and Beck are in line with what most Americans believe.
Perhaps in November sensible Americans can finally return out nation to rational values and to rationality.
